Feet - Many people have commented how they love that these feet show the connectedness between this family. I like feet, and the simple black and white bring out the shapes and contrast of the sand and feet.
Children are great to photograph - even if you get them from behind. This photo of a brother and sister, I think, really shows a caring and love, and was captured prior to the "official" shoot. I'm always looking, before during and after, because those are the moments that sometimes express more than the sitting.
Another great example of looking at the big picture! I was taking a photo of the parents here (having some fun), and noticed their son just idling away the time. Zooming out helped to capture the real moment.
The Golden Gate bridge in the background helps to set a backdrop to this lovely families portraits. The smiles here make the photo!
This time with the family not looking at the camera. This is a nice image because we feel invited into their personal space and it looks like they're having a good time together (and we're not intruding)/.
Looking off into the distance makes for a tender moment. Everyone was having a great time here, while they watched surfers coming in on the waves.
Walking as a family is sometimes a rare event, and capturing it is difficult
Of course, standard portrait type photos are also loved!
Some style adjustments, some colour alternations, and a warm photo is created.
